CARE India’s Credit and Savings for Household Enterprise (CASHE) project is one of the largest microfinance projects in the country. For the past two years CASHE along with its associates, has been organizing ‘microfinance India’ conference which draws attention of national and international sector experts. The conference has been instrumental in providing a platform for information and knowledge sharing by people from various backgrounds.

microfinance India 2006 to be held on October 30-31, 2006, is the third in a series of annual conferences organized to provide an international learning, sharing and visioning platform for the Indian microfinance industry.

In the year 2006, microFinance India aims to share information and promote discussion on two important aspects – expanding microfinance in urban areas and ensuring impact. The event will draw interest and attention of representatives from various sectors including policy makers and influencing agencies, government representatives, investors and wholesalers, banking sector representatives, donor agencies, practitioners, researchers, consultants and academicians, amongst others.

Your early response will ensure your confirmed participation. Registration forms can be downloaded from http://www.microfinanceindia.org. The last date for regular registration fee is September 15, 2006. After September 15, 2006, registration will be allowed as "late registration" with additional fee as mentioned below.
